Everest 92

Among the characters you can see some pretty unusual ones:
mt for meters
mq for square meters (metri quadrati in italian)
ige: an italian tax introduced in 1940 and replaced in 1973 by the IVA (value-added tax)

  3. Very nice discovery! Of course, these are completely impossible to find over here in the USA, so it's great to see one. Congrats!

    1. Thank you, I don't even know if these were ever exported to the US, and are far less common than Olivettis here in Italy too!

  4. I always wanted to become a ham radio operator, but that's almost impossible in my country (Mexico) due to bureaucracy. xD

That machine looks awesome. Specially because it has three paper holders. xD

  5. I'm also a radio amateur! I operate in CW-QRP with a manual key only. I don't like digital QSO (PSK31 or other digital modulations), and I love the irregular rhythm of the vertical key, like I love the irregular rhythm when I use my typewriters. However, I never used a typewriter for my QSL cards, in this case I prefer a good pen. All the best from Como, Italy! 73 de IW2NZR

Attività ne faccio poca e prevalentemente in hf SSB.
